Performance Opportunities

Performing is a skill, just like understanding spinal alignment, ear training, or breathing.  We only improve performance skills by putting them in practice.  It is important for musicians to have opportunities to perform for LIVE audiences.

Mushall Music Studio provides two recital opportunities in the 2020-21 Tuition Year.  Students will perform repertoire that they are currently working on and will learn the art of introducing oneself to an audience.  With practice, performing gets easier and easier. Recitals are encouraged, but no singer is EVER forced to participate.

Colorado Springs Area Choirs:

Competitive and non-competitive performance opportunities are available.

Music on the Mezzanine - a supportive environment for anyone to come and sing for FUN!  You may sing any piece - one from your lessons, or a pop song that you want to try out, a duet or group piece, or even just part of a song!  Singers typically will pay a fee to participate, but as a special benefit to enrolled students, you will have access to a minimum of two pre-paid opportunities to attend and sing!  An accompanist will be provided and you are responsible for bringing music for the accompanist.  Dates coming soon!!  (Note:  No explicit lyrics allowed.  All songs must be appropriate for all ages.)
